Shelley Larkin

Shelley Larkin was born and raised in Southern California and currently resides in San Diego. She tells herself this is a dream come true to be able to walk on the sand and smell the glorious sea air. The ocean inspires Shelley and while walking she delves into multiple creative concepts.

She is the President and Director of Marketing and Promotions for Magic Everywhere Inc. In addition, Shelley is a writer and producer for the many projects associated with Magic Everywhere that include the animation series, Nick Knitley and The SockKids, Dr. Neverme, and Dinomike playing an active role with character development, illustration collaboration, website design, and merchandising of books, videos, and other products. In addition, she also produces the Magical Books for Kids Podcast.

More recently, Shelley decided to pursue her writing ambitions. She likens it to an encore career, having started later rather than sooner in life.

Since doing so she has co-written “The SockKids Say No to Bullying” and “The SockKids Stop a Bully.” Also, “Nick Knitley and The SockKids”, another dimension of life and beyond with the talking SockKids.

Shelley’s recent accomplishment is the award winning, “The Lizard Who Loves A Blizzard”, that tells of an adorable lizard from down under who dreams of snow on Christmas day. She is the lead writer on this wild ride.

Inspired by her accomplishments, Shelley has written her first solo endeavor, an engaging new adventure, “Princess Investigators: The Case of the Missing Crown” that follows sisters Eva and Lucy and their insatiable curiosity for unsolved mysteries.
